Sulphur removal with activated carbon 

We are using activated carbon for sulphur removal from feed gas, containing sulphur in the range of 3-5 ppm v/v. Exit sulphur  from bed remain in traces

Does any one have experience  regarding the activated carbon bed behaviour, specially when feed gas  also contaminated with oil or higher hydrocarbon?
